A Village in Need

Summary
The PCs arrived in Winterhaven, a small village a few days east of Ilmara. After speaking with some of the villagers and the lord of the area they learned of a few sites of interest in the area - a ruined keep dating back from the Marasinian Empire, a burial cairn that may be the last resting place of a dragon, and the location of the lair of the kobolds that have been plaguing the King's Way. Queries about the death cult were met with incredulous replies and disbelief that such a thing could be found in the area.

At the behest of Lord Ernest Padraig, the party agreed to travel to the kobold lair and put an end to their threat for good.

Memorable Events
Kobolds again attacked the party on their way out of Winterhaven. And again, the wily scaled folk threatened to overwhelm the heroes. Fortunately, in the end they were able to prevail and struck down the humanoid marauders.
