Blackport

City of Chaos

Blackport is a fortified port city found in western Zarkhir. It is a city of slavers, pirates, assassins, and similar folk. It is a very open city with virtually no law beyond what people make for themselves. Due to the wide variety of illicit merchandise that passes through the city it is sometimes considered a "poor man's Sharaj". That city, despite its nature, is meant to cater to refined (and wealthy) tastes, and is far safer. Blackport is the "City of Depravity", where the desperate or the dire find themselves; its infamous "Whoreshack Alley" - which is quite literally what it sounds like - helps to sum up the spirit of the city.

The Slavemasters of Blackport are the overlords of the city, maintaining just enough order to keep anyone from disrupting their trade. Blackport is also home to the widely feared Guild of Assassins, more commonly known as "The Guild". Finally, numerous pirates freely dock in Blackport and base their operations from the port, much to the chagrin of cities and merchants throughout the known world.
