Caerhaven

Highland Clans Outpost

Caerhaven is found in south-central Atharys and is the largest permanent settlement of the Taelan. It is built on the ruins of an unnamed city from the Second Age, and was originally used by the Taelan clans as a gathering place for yearly festivals and clan meetings. Since the coming of the Vykir and the return of the elves to Lyranorr, Caerhaven's importance has increased. The Taelan now use it as a staging area for the defense of their lands from their western and northern enemies.

Though Caerhaven has been slowly growing over the past decade, the ruins still dwarf the town in size and have yet to be fully explored. There are rumors of undiscovered dangers and treasures lurking beneath the ancient city, but the Taelan have been too pre-occupied with elves and Vykir marauders to explore much of the ruins.
