Dhazyra

The Dhazyra are an enigmatic people who look like humans with horns and tails. They are commonly thought to be a cross between demons and humans, though whether this is true is unknown. There is little that is known of the Dhazyra, actually, and they aren't particularly forthcoming with information on their history. They do claim to have once ruled a great empire in the distant past but there is no proof of this (though given how little is known of history prior to the Third Age, it is entirely possible). Some claim Malgotha is their ancestral home and was the seat of their kingdom.

The Dhazyra are nomadic, wandering about in tribes and selling their services as mercenaries. Due to their mysterious past and sinister appearance, they tend to be distrusted, though some find permanent residence in some of the larger cities. Most Dhazyra tribes are found on Karnathas, though there are a fair number living along the northern coast of Zarkhir. There are no known tribes on Atharys, though individual Dhazyra may be encountered there.
