Differences from 4E
The following is a list of things in Mythosa that are different from the "assumed world" of 4E. This list is not exhaustive and will likely continue to be expanded upon over time.
- Races
- No githzerai, goliaths, halflings, shardminds, shifters, or wilden
- Gnomes
- Rare
- Expatriates of the Feywild
- No major concentrations in Mythosa
- Gods
- "Official" gods from the core books don't exist in Mythosa
- See the Religion section of the website for the gods of the campaign
- Primordials/Dawn War
- Primordials exist and are enemies of the gods
- Mythosan history differs from Dawn War
- Unknown what part primordials play in ancient history
- The history presented in the History section is the most widely accepted, but its accuracy is unproven; for all anyone knows, the "Dawn War" could be the truth, or it could be something complete different from both.
- History
- Arkhosia, Bael Turath, and Nerath are not part of Mythosa's history
- The ancient Azakaal Empire of Mythosa's First Age may have some similarities to Arkhosia
- Dhazyra (tieflings) claim they had an ancient empire or great kingdom, so something like Bael Turath may have once existed; there's no proof to support the claim and none to refute it; unlikely it was a contemporary of Azakaal, however.
- No Nerath, but the recent past was dominated by the Marasinian Empire.
