Ordathas

Cursed Ruined City
Ordathas is a ruined city on the coast of Malgotha. It is very old but its exact age is indeterminate; it's architecture appears to be from the early Second Age. It is also avoided since it is cursed. Ordathas is known as the "City of the Mad"; intelligent creatures that enter the ruins are slowly driven insane, eventually believing Ordathas is their home and refusing to leave. Those who fall under the curse subsequently degenerate into subhuman aberrations.

There are rumored to be great treasures in the ruins of Ordathas, including the sword Icescourge, the Scintillating Crown of Camlyn, and the Ring of Emerald Ruin. They remain unclaimed, however, due to the curse.

The Stone Idol Road leads from Ordathas to the Temple of the Screaming Gods.
