Perilous Sea

The Perilous Sea is found in the south of the known world, between Malgotha and Zarkhir. It is aptly named as its depths are infested with sahuagin and aquatic Sith'aal, while the surface is plagued with an abnormal number of storms and hurricanes every year.

Farther to the south, the Perilous Sea is quite the opposite, with waters that are tranquil and calm. It is so calm that ships that find themselves there generally are unable to make their way out. With virtually no wind or current, the vessels simply drift in the center of the sea while their crews are driven to starvation and madness.
