Sharaj is a city on the northern coast of Zarkhir. It is known as the "City of Earthly Delights" since almost any desire can be indulged here, as long as one has enough gold. The city is known for its exotic offerings, including rare spices, powerful narcotics, and expert pleasure slaves.

The rulers of Sharaj are adamant about maintaining high aesthetic standards for their city. Streets are kept clean, brawling is forbidden, and beggars are relegated to back alleys, away from the main streets. Due to the climate and the nature of the city, the populace and most visitors wear very little attire, and what they do wear is always of high quality.
