Temple of the Screaming Gods

Mysterious Deadly Temple
This vast, ancient temple is found in central Malgotha. Its name comes from its numerous idols, statues, and reliefs depicting beings of an ambiguous, vaguely humanoid race. The beings appear to be screaming, but whether that is the case is difficult to determine since they do not bear a resemblance to any known race of today or the past. Who they represent, who built the place, and if its purpose is truly to be a house of worship are all mysteries.

Though it is believed the temple is from the First Age or possibly earlier, age has not made it a safe place to enter. Would-be treasure seekers report that the temple is filled with traps as well as all manner of guardian automatons. Some have also reported that the temple houses a magical idol that will answer a single question for an individual; the answer is cryptic but always true.

The Stone Idol Road leads from the temple to the ruins of Ordathas.
