The Triumvirate of Light is a divine trinity consisting of the gods Alyara, Baltur, and Lyranis. Each of the three is a distinct deity, but they are a single entity as well.
Once there were many gods of "good" among the Divine Host. During the Divinity War, all but two of them were slain by Shaarizad and his allies. Alyara and Lyranis survived, having fled beyond the reach of mortal worship. When they returned, they were able to restore their brother Baltur to life by infusing him with a large portion of their own divine essence. As such, the three gods became one, though they remained separate beings (this is one of the great mysteries of the faith).
Worship of the Triumvirate not common; the evil and amoral gods dominate the religious landscape, and many folk are not even aware that the three gods of light even exist any longer. Those who serve the Triumvirate as clergy are dedicated to fighting the evils of the world.
The gods of the Triumvirate are detailed below:
Symbols and Associations: The colors white, gold, blue; the number three; lions, griffins, eagles, doves; roses; diamonds, amethysts; cedar, yew
Holy Days: Sundays are always days of reverence for the Triumvirate's faithful. Other holy times include the Dawning and the Feast of Honor and Memory.
Essence of the Faith: Strike down those who serve evil; hinder those who attempt to thwart goodness. Be the Light that guides others from the darkness. Never fail to come to the aid of those who truly need your help. The Undead are an abomination to life and the Light and must be destroyed at any opportunity. Be true to your word. Always encourage creativity and curiosity in yourself and others.
